Step 4
A. Provide a summary of your perceived areas of strengths and areas of needed improvement

I think I'm good at staying organized and making sure I get assignments done on time. However, I think I could improve my productivity while working independently as I can become distracted. While I may occasionally struggle with motivation when working by myself, I'm really excited for this course and don't see it becoming an issue.

B. Provide the ratio of true to false out of 30
About 25:5

Course Benchmark Goals
-
What is it that you hope to know and be able to do at the conclusion of the class?
I would like to be somewhat confident in my ability to read music by the end of the class, be able to hear a note and know what it is, and have a grasp on an instrument so I can continue learning it after the class is over.

-
What are three things you would like to achieve in order to count your semester as successful?
Again, I would like to become more confident in my ability to play music, be able to recognize a note when I hear it, and start to learn an instrument I can continue with when the semester comes to an end.

-
How motivated are you to achieve these goals?
I think I'm pretty motivated to achieve these goals as these are things I've wanted to learn for years.

-
How will you increase your motivation if it becomes low during the course of the semester?
I will remind myself how I will love having these abilities after high school, and have a friend guilt me into staying focused on that if needed.

-
What strategies can you use to achieve your goals?
I can make sure to practice every day, and always set aside time to make sure I get what I need to done.

-
What might interfere with your achievement and how can you prevent this interference?
Senioritis and a very limited music background may be a struggle during this process. Asking for help and staying focused and motivated will help me to overcome these obstacles.
